Hand Embroidery 101: Embellishments

Have you seen the fun trend of adding a name or word to the curve of a shirt neckline? It’s such a unique and interesting way to embellish a simple shirt or sweatshirt to give it a *pop* of color and whimsy. Add hand embroidered detail to a piece of clothing!

We will explore a few basic stitches and ways to transfer designs to your choice of clothing.

Sarah will have a selection of beginner friendly designs available but feel free to bring your own ideas! HINT: we currently love the Ho Ho Ho idea we’ve seen floating around Facebook. Use red and white threads to make it festive for the holidays. Imagine how cute that would be for photos.
