Sewing lingerie is a complex skill; it involves stretch knits, often delicate fabrics, and a serger.
If you’re ready to expand your sewing abilities and want to learn to sew lingerie, we offer customized private lessons to fit your skill level and project goals. Sewing a beginner lingerie garment from a sewing pattern will take at least 4 hours, start to finish. We have several patterns that we’ve tested and can recommend or you can select your own and we will work through it together.
Cost: $340 covers a 4-hour private lesson. Your 4-hour session can be booked all at once or broken up into two 2-hour sessions. Additional time can be purchased if needed. Private sewing lessons are typically booked in 2+ hour blocks at a rate of $85/hour.
Prework: Print and assemble the digital sewing pattern and purchase supplies.

Instructor: Sarah has a bachelorās degree in Fashion Design from Western Michigan University. When she is not teaching at Fabricate Studios, she works full-time in the industry using her skills in professional pattern making, technical pattern drafting, draping, and bringing paper to life at an apparel company in the metro Atlanta area. Sarah has over 6 years of hands-on experience that she willingly shares with the students at Fabricate Studios.
