Sewing for Baby: Bib & Burp Cloth

Everyone needs a beautiful gift that is easy to create for new moms and seasoned moms alike. The skills learned in this class will translate to many other projects. We’ll reinforce techniques learned in Sewing 101.

Prerequisite: Sewing 101 or equivalent skills

• 2 coordinating fat quarters
• OPTIONAL (instead of fat quarters): 1/2 yard of 2 coordinating double gauze fabrics (this material is a little more difficult to work with, but Shannan’s favorite for baby gifts)
• 1/2 yard Terry Cloth in a coordinating color
• Craft size batting in 100% cotton
• *Snap (We love KAM snaps) or sew in velcro
• Sewing machine
• Coordinating thread
• Sewing notions needed to sew/cut fabric
