The needlework style of Swedish Huck Weaving creates bold geometric designs that have been decorating homes for hundreds of years. This style originated in Northern Continental Europe (not Sweden). It became popular with Swedish Immigrants in the Midwestern USA as a way to inexpensively decorate house linens in the 1930s & 40s.

We will explore interesting geometric designs as well as learn this simple needle “weaving” technique on a pre-hemmed piece of Huck Toweling fabric. This class will also discuss other types of fabric that can be used for Huck Weaving.

Cost: $85 course fee, includes 2 hours (one session) of instruction, sampler materials and a supplies kit

Instructor: Sarah R
