Advanced Private Lessons: Adult Sewing Lessons

Private 2-hour sewing lesson payment page. You are booking a  2-hr private sewing lesson at Fabricate Studios with one of our advanced instructors.

Scheduling: see current availability, please view the Google calendar below which shows OPEN times.  Private lessons are booked in 2+ hour increments. Enter the date/time in the notes section at checkout so we can secure that spot for you.

Instructors: 

Corissa has been sewing garments since the age of 9. She attended SCAD and earned a BFA in Fashion Design and minor in Accessory Design. With a special interest in cosplay, she has experience in both basics and fantastical clothing. Whether creating something from a pattern or troubleshooting new designs, she can help bring your ideas to life. Corissa is pink on the scheduling calendar.

Joan has been sewing since childhood, when Sassoon jeans didn’t fit but Husky jeans did. With degrees in fashion design (West Virginia University) and textile fiber engineering (Southern Polytechnic, now Kennesaw State), she has won competitions for adaptive garment design and created costumes for theater and stage, earning an Atlanta Journal-Constitution cover in 2005. Joan is gray on the private lesson calendar.

Lessons: Private lessons are booked in 2+ hour increments. Please purchase multiples to cover reserved lesson times. If you request more hours than needed for your lesson, time can be applied toward future lessons or classes.

Prework: Print and assemble any digital sewing patterns, purchase supplies, wash fabric, etc.
