In Bagmaking: Basics & Beyond, you’ll learn to create a variety of bags—from simple totes to more structured handbags—while gaining the foundational techniques and confidence to tackle future projects on your own. We’ll cover everything from cutting and interfacing to zippers, pockets, linings, straps, and closures.
Each project is designed to teach you new skills while reinforcing what you’ve already learned, making this a perfect series for both beginners and adventurous beginners/intermediate sewists.

A little about Diana:
Diana is a passionate self-taught sewist who began her sewing journey as an adult. Over time, she mastered the art of creating beautiful quilts, stylish bags, and unique clothing. Her creativity shines through in her quilt designs, which are entirely her own. Diana’s true calling lies in teaching others to sew. She finds immense joy in guiding beginners and watching their skills flourish. She is dedicated to sharing her craft and inspiring others to embark on their own sewing adventures.
A little about Darcy:
Darcy has been sewing for basically her entire life, growig up with grandmothers and a mother who sewed so it’s always been a part of Darcy’s life. She worked in a fabric shop in high school and got back into sewing as an adult when her best friend couldn’t find nursery things she loved for her first baby. Darcy caught the quilting bug and has been loving it ever since!
