Hand Embroidery 102: Building on the Basics

Already comfortable with the hoop and needle? Let’s take your stitching skills up a notch. Hand Embroidery 102: Building on the Basics is a follow-up course designed to help you refine your technique while learning new stitches, tricks, and applications.

Through a collection of thoughtfully designed projects, we’ll explore ways to add texture, detail, and polish to your embroidery. You’ll gain hands-on experience with more complex stitch patterns and learn how to troubleshoot common challenges—all in a relaxed, supportive environment.

In this class, you’ll:
🧵 Build on your foundation with intermediate-level stitches
🧵 Learn how to blend colors, layer stitches, and add dimension
🧵 Experiment with new fabrics and fibers
🧵 Practice neat finishing techniques for display-worthy results

Some supplies are included, and you’re welcome to bring your favorite tools or threads. This is a great class for stitchers ready to move beyond the basics and start developing their own personal embroidery style.
