Have a sewing machine that’s still in the box—or one you’ve tried a couple of times but aren’t quite sure you’re ready for Sewing 101? This beginner‑friendly, hands‑on class is the perfect place to start!

In this one‑session workshop, we’ll take the mystery out of your sewing machine. You’ll learn the essential setup, operation, and troubleshooting skills you need to feel confident using your machine at home or before jumping into more advanced classes.

What You'll Learn

• How to properly set up your sewing machine
• Winding and inserting a bobbin
• Threading the machine step‑by‑step
• Understanding stitch settings and basic functions
• How to sew your first stitches (straight seams + backstitching)
• Tips for solving common beginner issues (thread nests, tension problems, needle issues, etc.)

Minimum Enrollment Policy
This class requires a minimum of 3 registrations to run.
If the class does not meet the minimum, you will receive full credit toward any future class of your choice.
