Come learn the classic Log Cabin quilt block and variations. This is a timeless block that you can make as modern or as cozy and classic as you like based on your fabric choices. We’ll look at how size affects the look of the block, the many ways you can arrange the blocks in your final design and look at several variations on the block. Goal is to complete the quilt top by the end of the class (quilting and binding done after class).
Skill level: Confident Beginner, must know how to use your machine (Sewing 101 at Fabricate or equivalent skills).
Skills taught: Log cabin block (cutting, color placement, quilt top design) Accurate cutting and 1/4″ seam allowance.
