You’ve been sewing garments from patterns and are ready to take your sewing skills to the next level — enter draping and dressmaking. During 4 hours of private draping lessons, you’ll learn techniques for creating a custom dress in a simple silhouette. One-on-one, we’ll create a muslin drape, transfer it to pattern paper, and cut the pattern from fashion fabric.
Cost: $340 covers a 4-hour private lesson. Most students can finish a bodice sloper within a 4-hour lesson. Your 4-hour session can be booked all at once or broken up into two 2-hour sessions. Additional time can be purchased if needed. Private sewing lessons are booked in 2+ hour blocks at a rate of $85/hour.
