An exciting youth up-cycling fashion class!

Turn old clothes into new fashion in this exciting youth up-cycling class! Kids will build a mood board and sketch fashion illustrations, then dive into color and textile exploration before learning hands-on sewing techniques to bring their designs to life. Each young designer finishes the session with a completed garment, ready to strut down the runway at our Mini Fashion Showcase for parents on the last day of class — or take it straight home to wear! It’s the perfect mix of creativity, confidence, and craft for kids ready to design their own style. Each child will receive a supply kit for continuing their creations at home.
Skill level: Beginner Kids, Ages 7+, No experience required
Skills Taught: Fashion Inspiration & Mood Board, Fashion Illustration, Color & Textiles Exploration, Sewing Techniques, One Finished Garment
Time Commitment: Class meets Mondays, September 14th thru November 2nd from 5:00-6:30pm. Eight (8) 1.5 hour classes, Twelve (12) total class hours.
