In this project based class we will start and finish sewing a lovely summer dress from the McCall’s M7950 pattern.
- Class One: We will review your paper pattern, determine fit and cut out your summer dress pattern and fabric.
- Class Two: The fun begins…time to start sewing. We will assemble your bodice, sew your side seam pockets, and gather
- Class Three: We will learn how to make button holes, sew on buttons and hem your dress.
Class time: 3 sessions 2.5 hours each for a total of 7.5 hours
Prerequisite: Sewing 101 and 102
Skill level: Beginner
What your learn: Essential sewing techniques, reading your pattern, proper cutting techniques, pattern adjustments and alterations, dress assembly, button holes, buttons and creative customization to make your summer dress uniquely yours.
