 Summer Camps

Fabricate Studios offers weeklong beginner and intermediate friendly Summer Camps. In the Sewing Summer Camps, students will learn to use a sewing machine and make multiple projects that they can show off to friends and family. In Fiber Arts Camp, campers will learn knitting, weaving, and macramé.

**At Fabricate Studios, our expertise is teaching and we’re committed to this mission by completely eliminating retail from our facility; we are strictly an educational space. This means that our studio is closed to the public and students will have the instructor’s complete attention during camp sessions.

Pick-up and Drop-off:

  • AM Camp: Drop off is 9am. Pick-up is at 12pm.
  • PM Camp: Drop off is 1pm. Pick-up is at 4pm.

Cost: $395, includes all fabric/supplies ($50 value). Sewing machines are provided free of charge during camp or they may bring a machine from home.

2023 Summer Camps are OPEN for Registration!

Fashion: In this camp we’ll learn the beginnings of how to be a fashion designer. We’ll also learn how to take some measurements. Projects include a fashion design notebook, a skirt, head band, scrunchie, tote bag. This camp is open to all skill levels, beginner through advanced.

Plushy: Every child loves their stuffies. Projects include a monogram pillow, a cube animal, and a project of their own design. This camp is open to all skill levels, beginner through advanced.

Intermediate Sewing, Activewear: Calling all Intermediate level sewers. Campers will make a full custom activewear outfit. Pieces will include a shirt/hoodie and pants. Little Baker: in tis camp we’ll make a few projects for littles who love to bake! Apron, donut pin cushion, and pot holder are some examples of projects we’ll make.

Sewing for Artists: in this camp we’re going to have fun with designing fabric. We’re going to learn and use different techniques of tie-dye and we’ll also paint on fabric, then we’ll use those fabrics in projects we sew. Projects include a drawstring bag, pencil pouch, and an artist’s roll up. This camp is open to all skill levels, beginner through advanced.

Quilting, Yellow Brick Road: In this camp we’ll learn how to make a quilt from beginning to end, from cutting out the pieces, making a quilt sandwich and quilting it, all the way through to binding and finishing off. This camp is open to all skill levels, beginner through advanced.

  • July 10th-14th from 9am-12pm
  • July 10th-14th from 1pm-4pm

Pets: We’re making lots of little customized “unbirthday” gifts for ourselves and our favorite pets! Ideas for human projects include pet shaped pillows, neckwarmers, and stuffed animals.  Pet projects include toys, leash, beds, and more.

Fiber Arts: In this camp, we will dabble in the arts of knitting, crochet, macrame, and weaving. This camp is open to all skill levels, beginner through advanced.

Cosplay Intermediate Sewing: Calling all Intermediate level sewers; DragonCon is just around the corner! We’ll help students sew their perfect costume. *Some additional materials may be required for purchase, depending on the costume selected. Sewing machines are provided free of charge during camp. All fabric, thread and other materials are included in the cost of camp.
