Sew, you are ready to continue your sewing journey but need some one-on-one help. Great news! We are here to help. We have talented instructors who can help you finish a project you’ve been struggling with, start a new project on your bucket list, or just get a few extra hours of instruction to help with what you’ve already learned in one or more of our classes.

If you are truly a beginner, never used a sewing machine or perhaps used it once or a handful of times, sign up for a beginner private lesson.
Diana loves working with beginners. She is the lead Sewing 101 instructor and also enjoys making quilts and bags. Diana has taught well over a thousand students how to sew since co-founding Fabricate Studios. Diana is yellow on the scheduling calendar below.
Thalia’s is a experienced sewer who went to design school, works in the film industry, and has expertise in sewing clothing. She is a great instructor for beginners and also offers advanced lessons for students who have attended several classes, made an item from a pattern, want to take your projects to the next level. If you are working on an advanced project, please use the Advanced Private Lessons listing to book those lessons. Thalia is green on the scheduling calendar below.
Our private lesson instructors have varying schedules and we will work with you accommodate your schedule the best we can. The lesson(s) will be scheduled for two hours. (see calendar below to find a day/time that works for you).
Cost: $85.00 per hour. Please purchase multiples to cover reserved lesson times. If you request more hours than needed for your lesson, time can be applied toward future lessons or classes.
Want to bring a friend, partner or spouse or have two children who would like to learn together? We offer a discounted rate when teaching in groups of two (2).
Prework: Print and assemble any digital sewing patterns, purchase supplies, wash fabric, etc.
