Test your sewing skills with knitwear, and dressmaking. In this 3 session class we will be making a stylish wrap dress. The wrap dress has become iconic thanks to the remarkable Diane von Furstenberg who introduced it in the late 60s early 70s. It has seen a few iterations over the years, including the faux wrap, but Sarah will take you back in time to the original beauty and its timelessness.

  • Class One: We will start with reviewing your pattern to select the correct size. We will learn how to make minor adjustment to your pattern if needed. We will use the rest of the class to cut out your fabric and apply your interfacing.
  • Class Two: We will start class sewing our darts, then begin to assemble our dress.
  • Class Three: We will attach your skirt to your bodice, sew facings to the body and hem your dress.
