1:1 Portfolio Development to create a professional portfolio used for the submission to fashion design schools.

To get your lesson on the schedule, please refer to the calendar below and provide the date and instructor your are requesting.

Hand in hand with Sarah, the student will edit and curate a portfolio to meet the requirements of each college prior to submitting an application. These are private sessions meeting in person at our Atlanta, Georgia studio or via Zoom for students not local to the area. We will start by reviewing the applications of the student’s top three schools of choice and curating a portfolio that may be used for all. Most portfolios consist of a design concept, (mood board and illustrations), execution of one to three designs (beginner pattern making/draping and sewing designs), as well as documentation of students’ work.

Together we will review the application requirements and create a concept that best showcases each student’s talents and abilities. Students will need to be consistent and committed to continuing work at home for the best outcome.

Cost: $700 covers six hours of private lessons. This is a specialized workshop specifically for portfolio development and more than six hours may be needed.  Additional time can be scheduled as needed at a rate of $225 for two hour increments.

Supplies: Sarah will contact you via email in advance of your first session to confirm application requirements and supplies needed.
